Privacy notice (United Kingdom · UK GDPR & DPA 2018)

This tool is a free, mobile-first ETIAS calculator operated as an independent informational service. The processing described here is in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we do NOT collect

You do not need to register, log in, or create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, payment details, or passport number. There is no user profile, no trip vault, and no server-side storage of your inputs.

What we DO process

• Form inputs — nationality, age, passport issue/expiry dates and travel dates that you enter into the calculator. These are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers, not logged, and not retained when you leave the page.
• Aggregated analytics — we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless service. It records anonymous page views and referrers; it does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — measuring service usage.
• Affiliate click-throughs — when you click a partner link in the "Related travel tools" panel, the destination site may set its own cookies per its own privacy policy. We do not see, store, or share your data with partners beyond the click itself.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Because we hold no personal data tied to you, most of these rights are satisfied by the design of the service.

International transfers

Plausible Analytics is operated from the EU and the UK has an adequacy decision in place. Affiliate partner sites operate under their own privacy notices.

This tool is a free, mobile-first ETIAS calculator operated as an independent informational service. This notice describes our practices for California residents under the CCPA / CPRA.

Categories of personal information we collect

• None collected on our servers. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. We do not request your name, email, phone, payment, or passport number. There are no accounts, logins or saved trips.
• Analytics (de-identified) — Plausible Analytics measures aggregate page views and referrers without setting cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without IP-level personal identifiers. We treat this data as not "personal information" under CCPA.
• Affiliate click-throughs — when you click a partner link in the "Related travel tools" panel, the destination site collects whatever its own privacy notice describes.

Do we sell or share personal information?

No. We do not sell, rent, or "share" (in the CPRA sense — for cross-context behavioural advertising) any personal information. We have no data to sell.

Your CCPA / CPRA rights

• Right to know what we collect and how we use it (the answer is the list above — analytics page views only).
• Right to delete — if you believe we have processed personal information about you, email us and we will confirm and delete as required.
• Right to correct — same channel.
• Right to opt out of sale / sharing — we do not sell or share, so opt-out has no operational effect, but you may still send the request.
• Right to limit sensitive personal information processing — n/a, none collected.
• Non-discrimination — exercising these rights will not affect access to the calculator.
