Accessibility statement
Accessibility statement (US · ADA · EAA)
This tool targets conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act (effective June 2025) and ADA / Section 508 guidance in the United States.
What we do
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
<main>,<header>,<nav>,<footer>) and a single<h1>per page. - Form labels, hints, and live error feedback announced via
aria-liveandaria-describedby. - Keyboard-only navigation for every interactive element; visible focus outlines on focus, including new WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 2.4.11 (Focus Not Obscured).
- Touch targets sized to the WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.8 minimum of 24×24 CSS pixels.
- Result-card values respect
prefers-reduced-motion. - Colour contrast: body text ≥ 4.5:1, large text and UI ≥ 3:1 against the background.
Known limitations
- The date-picker uses a custom calendar widget. We tested with NVDA + Chrome and VoiceOver + Safari; if you encounter a barrier please report it below.
- We have not audited every locale (en/es/fr) with every assistive technology pairing.
Reporting accessibility issues
Email [email protected]. Please include your operating system, browser, assistive technology, and a description of the barrier. We aim to acknowledge within 7 days and remediate as soon as practicable.
